Digipak ideas

as a group, we have finally been able to come up with the design of our digipak - the digipak will have six panels within it and each panel will look as shown below

Front cover - this is our album cover. The title 'spanning three borders' which has already been blogged about will be on the sop of the cover with a special edition sticker on the top right hand side. The image on the front is an overlap of three images relating to human beliefs within the world.

Image 1 - this image will be of the lead singer within a dark room and a spotlight on his face whilst e is holding a microphone. This will create a sense of mystery within the digipak.

Inlay - within the inlay which is where the CD sits there will be a photo of all the band standing against a wall. This is a typical shot that is involved within indie/rock group photoshoots and it will give the feel of that genre. Artists such as the ramones have done this shot and pulled it off extremely well

Image 2 and 3 - this is the main photo within the digipak as both of these panels have one photo spreading across them. Within this photo there is a backdrop of city lighting and the band standing in a V shape with the singer at the forefront raising his arms to imitate Da Vinci's man on the front cover.

Back cover - this final panel will have the whol song list of the album upon it. It will also involve the copyright, the production company and a barcode. The image upon the back cover will be the legs of a girl hanging coming from the top left hand side with a bright light coming from the top right hand side. This will softly light the legs of the girl and create a mysterious and disturbing effect.
